The Dry Loader is intended to be used to load air sensitive samples into the Hiden IGA instrument using an inert atmosphere. The system is not designed as a pressure vessel and has a pressure relief valve to prevent pressurisation by the inert gas. The system can hold a rough vacuum to remove the majority of air prior to filling with inert gas to improve purity of the resulting atmosphere and reduce flushing time.
The system is designed to be de-mountable to allow the use of standard IGA thermostats, however 3 mounting plates are permenantly installed, which will remain in place and do not affect the thermostat operation. |
